DeatexGroup renews OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification and expands its certified spunlace range
DeatexGroup renews its OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Class I certification and expands its certified spunlace range, reinforcing product safety and reliability.

For DeatexGroup, the renewal of the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification represents much more than a formal confirmation: it is the concrete continuation of a commitment that has been carried forward for over 10 years in the production of spunlace nonwoven fabrics for markets that require reliability, control and consistent quality.
The certificate, issued by CENTROCOT to DeatexGroup S.r.l., confirms the compliance of a range of spunlace articles with Product Class I, the strictest class of the OEKO-TEX® standard, intended for baby articles. This aspect is particularly significant because the requirements become increasingly stringent as skin contact increases and as the final user becomes more sensitive.

In practical terms, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certifies that textiles have been tested for the presence of harmful substances according to internationally recognised criteria. The assessment does not only concern the main material, but also takes into account the components and parameters relevant to product safety. For companies looking for a technical nonwoven compliant with strict chemical safety requirements, this certification therefore represents an important reference.
A broad, technical and certified spunlace range
The certification covers an extensive range of spunlace nonwoven fabrics, developed with different fibres, blends and finishes to meet various technical and application requirements.
- spunlace nonwovens made with cellulosic and synthetic fibres, including viscose, bamboo viscose, lyocell, polyester and polypropylene;
- technical variants developed with low-melt, flame-retardant and UV fibres, as well as polyester/polyamide microfibres;
- functionalised solutions for specific applications, such as dye-catcher and bacteria-capturing materials;
- pigment-printed versions, designed for applications requiring aesthetic customisation or specific functional requirements.
This variety allows DeatexGroup to offer a flexible and complete range of certified nonwovens, suitable for customers looking for reliable, customisable technical materials that meet increasingly demanding safety requirements.
In a market where technical and documentary requirements are becoming increasingly important, relying on a nonwoven manufacturer with a long-standing certification history means working with a partner focused on continuity, control and reliability.
For this reason, the renewal of the certification is not a final achievement for us, but a working foundation to continue developing spunlace materials capable of supporting customers in their projects, with attention to both product performance and market compliance requirements.
